Mia Ritchie recommits to Team Bath for 2020 Superleague season

Mia Ritchie has been the third player to recommit to Team Bath Netball for the 2020 Vitality Netball Superleague season.
The player has signed for the 11th successive season in Gold & Blue and first wore the colors of the franchise whilst studying in the University of Bath.
“It was my dream to play Superleague netball when I first came to the University of Bath and I likely wouldn’t have believed it if you mentioned I’d still be in the squad 11 decades later,” said Ritchie about the franchise’s official site.
“The Team Bath dress has such a heritage and history. You never require wearing it and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to do this again in 2020.
“It is the only team I have played for in the Superleague and I pride myself on being a one-club woman.”
Team Bath missed out on the Grand Final last year after a loss to Wasps Netball in the semi-final but proceeded to prevail within Loughborough Lightning over the Last day of the year to take third.
They move into the use of the Vitality Roses head trainer and approach the coming season without the existence of Jess Thirlby after her death. Anna Stembridge will be in charge of their Superleague outfit and is eager by the re-signing of Ritchie.
“Mia is a pocket rocket onto the court and a wonderful person who leads by example. She provides everything week in practice to make sure that not only is she’s actually in the best shape but that her team-mates are ready too.”
The 2020 Vitality Netball Superleague period will be shown live using all the fittings being declared on September.
The Season Opener will occur around February and with all franchises carrying on the side that finished closest to them in the end of last year, Team Bath will confront Loughborough Lightning at the Arena Birmingham.
Alongside Ritchie, Rachel Shaw along with the experienced defender Eboni Usoro-Brown have recommitted to Stembridge’s side and yet, no player signings are declared.
