Women’s help has posted a new report, digital world, genuine fear: Women’s Aid report into online punishment, harassment and stalking.

In 2013 Women’s Aid hosted a conference to discuss the impact of online stalking and harassment on women – thank you to all members who attended and contributed to the conference september.

The seminar aimed to show the intrinsic website link between online abuse, harassment and stalking, and domestic violence included in a pattern of behaviours by perpetrators. The seminar also explored the fear that online abuse, harassment and stalking produced as well as the effect it had on females.

This report draws fully out the main element themes through the seminar and makes tips for Government, social media providers and justice that is criminal.
