I’ve observed a number of occasions this year that it is a waste of time for any other’Dancing with the Stars’ contestant to function the’sympathy angle’ using Victoria Arlen in the area. Nothing they can come up with will shirt Arlen–how can you conquer”I had been in a vegetative state for four decades and only learned how to walk again”? This was on full display in Episode 5 of’Dancing with the Stars’ that had the theme’Most Memorable Year’. While there were several positive’unforgettable years’ that the DWTS manufacturers might also have titled it’Here is *my* sob story’. Again, I’m not trying to denigrate anything anybody else has been through but the simple fact remains that from an emotional standpoint every other contestant is placing a flush onto the dining table while Arlen is holding a four of a kind.
After the former episode which had no elimination in the aftermath of the Las Vegas shooting this incident was fairly eventful. Derek Fisher was finally removed. I had’D-Fish’ since the first contestant to get shown the door this year and his elimination is hard to contend with looking in the scores. He has the next lowest average score (20.0) although him turning in his very best score of the year (23) he has not shown much improvement week . So’D-Fish’ is gone and Nick Lachey could be next to follow him outside the door. It is difficult to believe how undependable and uneasy he seems. It is even harder to believe that at least one sportsbook had him set up as the pre-season favored according to this tenuous logic: Nick was in a 1990’s’boy band’ called 98 Degrees. 1990’s ‘boy bands’ used to dance around on stage. 98 Degrees had a fair amount of popularity. Ergo, Nick knows how to dance, will be comfortable in front of a crowd and have a good deal of fan support. To be honest, there were many in the general public that had exactly the exact same rationale but they’re not in the company of carrying bets.
In other developments–Terrell Owens continues to enhance and is beginning to exhibit the swagger and charisma he needed on the soccer field. Jordan Fisher was given the first’10’ score of the year and finished with the greatest overall score this season (29). Maks Chmerkovskiy returned into the show after missing last week because of’personal reasons’ that might or might not have been warmth with his celebrity spouse Vanessa Lachey. We also discovered that Frankie Muniz has taken more shots to the dome compared to Sidney Crosby. Nick Lachey clearly cannot catch a break right now–he spoke about how happy he has been married to his present wife and what does he get for this? He gets trolled by Jessica Simpson fans. Wait, she has fans?
