MotoGP world champion Marc Marquez won the San Marino Grand Prix at a thrilling race which culminated in final-lap struggle with France’s Fabio Quartararo.
The championship leader prevailed to proceed to 77 wins throughout all classes.
“Really wonderful to win here in Italy, but even more difficult to get a 93-point lead to the championship,” the Spaniard said.
Maverick Vinales completed in third for his fourth podium placing.
26, marquez, has 275 points heading into the Aragon Grand Prix of next week, with Andrea Dovizioso moment on Danilo and 182 Petrucci third on 151.
