Rugby World Cup 2019: England v Argentina Tips & Preview

Eddie Jones men have negotiated the opening two games with ease, racking up two bonus stage wins from the USA and Tonga.
Englands stingy defence has surrendered just once in the last three matches (USAs last-second try) and that seems set to put them in good stead against the Pumas, who have handed the 20 point mark just twice this year.
Jones looks to get chosen his strongest squad with Jack Nowell, Henry Slade and Mako Vunipola all coming from injury to take their place really.
Argentina input the game with just a win in 2019 (the 28-12 victory over Tonga past Saturday) and look a far cry from your side which created the semi-finals in 2015. Mario Ledesma has really made a huge choice call diminishing fly-half Nicolas Sanchez from their squad for the first time in three years, opting to Benjamin Urdapilleta at number 10.
Argentinas assault which has appeared so sleek over the last few seasons has been pretty blunt in Japan and they have reverted to their original strengths, with the forwards package accounting for five of the six attempts — four of those going to hooker Julian Montoya.
Its worth noting that the forwards of England have been likewise productive, scoring five of their 11 tries throughout the first two games.
Looking at those stats it sounds as though Jamie George is slightly overpriced at 20/1 to score first — the Saracens star scored against Tonga and given the advantage of Englands maul game, George could be in prime position to receive his second try of the championship.
My wager of this game is England to win by 11-20 points at 11/4. The Pumas have just lost by more than 10 points after since the start of the year (that a 46-13 loss to South Africa). Their last four results against England have noticed them lose by 13-10-4-13, together with these two middle defeats coming from a largely second series.
The bench of england is the strongest weve seen from some other side at the tournament and while I expect a tussle, thesefinishers can come on to create all of the difference and facilitate them on.
