Veracious is Obviously to Come Back out of a midsummer break in the next month’s Kingdom.
Having opened her accounts at Group One level on her final start at the Falmouth Stakes in July, the daughter of Frankel will rush to follow up by giving trainer Sir Michael Stoute a fifth success in the mile contest, after finishing down the area 12 weeks past.
Though not sighted for two or more weeks, the Cheveley Park Stud-owned four-year-old is reported in order.
Cheveley Park Stud managing director Chris Richardson said:”Veracious is heading to the Sun Chariot, all working well.
“She has been fine, and Sir Michael Stoute just wanted to freshen up her and let her encounter it in her own time.
“We are extremely satisfied with her, and that she worked well on Saturday. All being well, the goal is to allow her cruise to the race today.”
The prospects of Veracious staying outside her start looking increasing likely with her owners seeming keen to maintain her in coaching next season in training.
Richardson added:”I believe Mr and Mrs Thompson are still thinking of hurrying with Veracious next calendar year.
“That is only one of the reasons why she hasn’t yet been rushed. They have very much taken the opinion will be staying in training a year ago.”
Conditions that are Offered are suitable, stablemate Regal Truth will be supplied a third try at Group 1 level at the Qipco Champion Stakes on October 19 – with finished fifth in the month’s Juddmonte International.
Richardson added:”I believe we are likely looking towards the Champion Stakes with Regal Truth. The break was just missed by him in York, and I understand they have been working hard in receiving him way from the gate simpler.
“He doesn’t want soft earth, so we might need to keep a watch out for that. I think he’s a sophisticated horse and he is another that will stay in training .”
