Weve attained the quarter-final stage of the championship and just one player stays for first time in World Grand Prix history! Thats seed is none other than Michael Van Gerwen and that he must really fancy his chances. Nathan Aspinall continues to impress, but he never knows if he is beaten. His game against Chizzy tonight should be electrical but Im struggling to get an angle to get this. Glenn Durrant conquer Peter Wright is deservedly beaten by Rob Cross in Jermaine Wattimena along with a thriller. This day, they play each other and Id anticipate Durrant to come through this one but hes too brief for me personally to have a bet on. I believe the two games offer betting propositions.
To kick off weve Ian White v Chris Dobey. Gary Anderson final round stunned and he outplayed him. I can see him putting in a screen that is similar . White conquer Wade last round but Wade was far from his finest and was bad. Dobey is a fairly major price to win but awarded the unpredictably of the structure and Ian Whites skill I believe Dobey +1.5 sets is the wager. 26/25 is extremely generous given he played two nights back! If he wins, good, but if not I can envision it being tight and also the handicap landing.
My selection comes in game of the day. Michael Van Gerwen was unbelievable against Jeffrey De Zwaan. He faces Mervyn King tonight that has played really well up to now. His scoring has been impressive but I cant see him beating tonight to MVG. He may, but get one and I think Michael Van Gerwen to win 3-1 is a nice price at 12/5. He just wants to miss a few chances and michael is not immune to missing quite a few darts and King should capitalise. I anticipate Van Gerwen to acquire this comfortably but can see a set being nicked by King.
